Arab Journalists visit NJ
October 7, 2004
ADCNJ will co-host A group of
Arab journalists who hav been invited to participate in a
professional training and exchange program sponsored by the Department
of State's Media Outreach Center (London) and Foreign Press Center
(DC). The three-week program will take place from 18 September - 9
October 2004 in Washington, DC, Raleigh, North Carolina, New Jersey and
New York City.
Focus: Presidential, Congressional and State elections and media
coverage in the US. The impact of issues of the Arab world, the Middle
East and the Iraq war on the elections. Role of the Arab-American
community.
