Clifton, NJ | March, 10, 2008 |The Executive board of the New Jersey Chapter of the American-Arab Anti Discrimination Committee (ADC-NJ) wishes to thank all of its members and supporters for making the 12th Annual Banquet a magnificent event and a great success. The Annual Banquet was held on Saturday, March 8th at the Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ. More than four hundred members, friends and supporters attended the banquet. We would like to thank Mr. Ralph Nader for his inspiring keynote address which focused on his Arab roots and the important traditions that his parents instilled in him and his siblings.  We also would like to thank Governor Jon Corzine and U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg for addressing our community and for their kind words regarding both the community and ADC-NJ. Additionally, we would like to thank U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, U.S. Congressman Scott Garrett and NJ State Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein for joining us at the Banquet and for their continued support.  We very much look forward to continuing to work with each of them on issues of critical importance to our community.     NOTE TO EDITORS: The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), which is non sectarian and non partisan, is the largest Arab-American civil rights organization in the United States. It was founded in 1980, by former Senator James Abourezk to protect the civil rights of people of Arab descent in the United States and to promote the cultural heritage of the Arabs.
